Footprint Capital Advises Robertson’s, LLC, including Mechanical Products of Idaho, in Sale to Ambient Enterprises, LLC, a portfolio company of ICG
Columbus, Ohio, May 7th, 2025 – Robertson’s, LLC, including Mechanical Products of Idaho (“Robertson’s”), has been acquired by Ambient Enterprises, LLC (“Ambient”), a portfolio company of ICG (“ICG”). Footprint Capital, LLC (“Footprint”) acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor in the transaction.
Founded in 1999, Robertson’s is an HVAC manufacturer’s representative that provides a full range of HVAC solutions and is headquartered in Meridian, ID. Together with Mechanical Products of Idaho, the firm serves customers across Idaho, Oregon, and Wyoming. Robertson’s brings a robust product portfolio and tenured relationships across the region. The team is known for delivering responsive service, strong technical expertise, and lasting partnerships with engineers and contractors.
The acquisition continues to grow Ambient’s national network of HVAC representatives with Robertson’s bringing local leadership, integrity, and technical capabilities to the Pacific Northwest region.
